Why, oh why, are ANY women at all basing their idea of who would be a good candidate for dating on the following - "Awesome" hair
- "Cool" eyes
These things are not bad to have in a significant other. But, they should not be the deciding factor in whether or not you date this person. If anyone is wondering where this nonsense came from, I actually have a friend on my Facebook list who mentioned this as the only features she truly noticed about this guy she's interested in and as the SOLE apparent reason for BEING interested in him. It's one thing to hear about this odd phenomenon occurring, where women use ridiculous methods of choosing who is and who is not date-worthy. But, I have never personally witnessed it before. And NEVER, certainly never, witnessed it within one of my own friends. This...my world crumbles...I heard a saying once that you are only as good as the company that you keep. Oh dear gawd, I hope this is not a reflection on me. Hm...it strikes me that it is probably kind of selfish of me to be worrying about myself, though... Anyway...end rant...o.O;

LOL. Yes, this is incredibly depressing. It sounds like the sort of criteria a fourteen year old would list. He must be DREAMY.
I have to hope your friend will wake up soon and realize that it takes much more than this to make a relationship work.
On the other hand, maybe she's just looking for some booty, and these are the only things that matter for that.

I think that this boy will end up being a rebound. So you may be right about that! I can hope. *sigh* Then again, perhaps this is just what she's willing to admit to being attracted to about him out loud. Oh my...that worries me even more...*sigh*
